FOMU

The FOMU (Photo Museum of Antwerp) is one of Europe’s most prestigious and prominent photography museums. In the manner of an open house, we welcome dialogue with our visitors. The FOMU collects and manages unique collections of photographs, photographic equipment and photography books. We create ambitious exhibitions that provide context and connections, and we are an ambassador for budding talent and established names from everywhere in Belgium. The FOMU inspires and enriches.

The FOMU has collections numbering over 3,000,000 items. 92% of these consist of such large volumes of material that it is impossible for our staff to evaluate each one individually. With an eye to improving the visibility, findability and usefulness of the items in its collections, the FOMU continually seeks out innovative tools with which to address the difficulties of registration. Now, with DoeDat, we are asking you to help us register our collections.
